Robert

Robert TornuRobert studied Psychology at the University of Ghana – Legon and has been working with volunteers in Ghana since 2002, and with Globe Aware since 2007. Robert is from Agotime-Akpokope, a small village in the Volta Region of Ghana. According to Robert, empowerment is the most important part of all Ghana projects. From local materials to manual labor, community participation in all projects is the most important factor in making them successful and sustainable. While you will have the opportunity to work with everyone from the Globe Aware Ghana staff, it is Robert’s job to ensure you have a fun, safe, comfortable and inspiring experience in Ghana.
